Over 600.000 € raised via Crowdfunding.

Black Tea Motorbikes, the German electric motorcycle manufacturer successfully raised over 600.000 € through a Crowdfunding Campaign on Indiegogo. In line with its mission to make sustainable adventures accessible for everyone, anywhere, the raised money is important step to further develop the first product, Bonfire.

A Street-Legal Edition of Bonfire will feature a unique off-road performance for clean and silent free-riding, backcountry exploration and, also urban adventure. It will have space for two batteries, to further increase range & a bigger frame to offer more space for passengers.

We are stoked to have raised that high amount. We didn't expect the campaign to be that successful. This bike seems to be something that a lot of people were waiting for a long time and now are proud to be able to further continue our mission and make our first model finally street legal. We will start the street legal certification with TÜV Süd in Munich by the end of the year and our aim is to have a street legal version by April 2022", says Viktor Sommer CEO of Black Tea Motorbikes.
