From the university to the garage
Viktor assembled the first prototype at university. At the time, it was supposed to be an e-bike without pedals, but it quickly became clear that it had to be an electric motorcycle!
An electric café racer. In other words, a black tea racer. And the name was born: Black Tea Motorbikes.
Then came the corona crisis and the second prototype was simply built in the living room of his shared flat.
Now an investment was needed.
Electric is now sexy!
The crowdfunding has hit like a bomb. Over €600,000 was raised.
Within a year, a one-man show and a prototype became the first German e-motorcycle manufacturer with the first electric series motorcycle: Bonfire.

We believe that electric motorcycles have enormous potential that has not yet been fully exploited. Electric motorcycles are not just perfect for commuting. They are adventure vehicles with which you can discover completely new places.

This makes our bikes look cool and fun to ride while the price remains attractive.
In our view, exciting mobility must remain affordable.
